To start using your Straight Talk device or SIM card, you must activate your service at StraightTalk.com/activate. The activation process is simple and takes only a few minutes. Follow the official steps below to get started.

What You Need Before Activation

• Straight Talk phone OR unlocked compatible phone
• Straight Talk SIM card (if BYOP)
• Service plan or airtime PIN card
• Your ZIP code for network configuration
• Stable mobile data or Wi-Fi

Step-by-Step Activation Process

1. Go to StraightTalk.com/activate
2. Select your activation option:
   • New Straight Talk phone
   • Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP)
   • SIM card activation
3. Enter your phone’s IMEI/MEID/Serial number
4. Enter SIM number if needed
5. Select or add a Straight Talk service plan
6. Create or log in to your Straight Talk account
7. Complete activation and restart your device

Number Transfer (Porting)

If you want to keep your current number, choose the “Transfer Number” option during activation. Do not cancel your previous carrier until transfer is completed.
